Who is sagar_builds?
If you've come across @sagar_builds on Instagram, X (Twitter), or GitHub, you've probably seen the builds — AI tools running on Android phones, MCP servers scaffolded in 30 seconds, full-stack apps shipped overnight.
sagar_builds is the internet identity of Sagar Tamang — an AI engineer, product builder, and content creator based in Bangalore, India.
The Origin of sagar_builds
The name is literal. Sagar builds things.
Not plans. Not pitch decks. Not wireframes that sit in Figma for six months. Actual working products — shipped, deployed, and open for the world to use.
The underscore in sagar_builds started as a Twitter handle because sagarbuilds was already taken. But it stuck, because it captures the philosophy perfectly: Sagar (the person) + builds (the verb, the output, the identity).
Every piece of content on @sagar_builds follows one rule: show the build, not just the idea.

That's the tagline on sagartamang.com, and it's not marketing. It's a constraint.
sagar_builds ships by imposing ruthless constraints:
- No overengineering — the simplest solution that works, deployed today
- Build in public — every project gets a reel, a blog post, or a GitHub repo
- Learn by building — tutorials on this blog aren't theoretical; they come from real builds
- Android-first experimentation — if it can run on a phone, it can run anywhere
